Album art sketches

Independent musicians often need a single cover the week a track is finished. These are background concepts we draft with Raphael AI, the free AI image generator at https://raphael.app, before adding typography by hand.

Moods to prompts

• Lo-fi: rain on a bus window at night, blurred city lights, teal and amber
• Folk: wooden chair on an empty porch, field at golden hour, film grain
• Electronic: chrome sphere floating over a desert, hard shadow, saturated sky
• Ambient: fog over a still lake with one rowboat, monochrome blue

Square and simple

Streaming apps crop and shrink covers. Keep one subject, centred or on a strong diagonal, and avoid fine textures.
